Subject: Illuminating but biased
This "schoolbook" shed a lot of light on the events that led to WWI, the reasons that the assassination of Franz Ferdinand precipitated the war, the early years of the war and the US's entry into the conflict. As history is written by the "winners" it's somewhat biased against Germany and Austria. Still, it was a good history lesson.
